Interview Producer / Host

Contacting and booking guests for interviews in addition to cultivating and maintaining guest relationships on behalf of the Propwatch Project. This would include identifying ideal guests from the academic and literary communities, setting up interviews and in many cases conducting a recorded interview with the guest via Zoom, with the assistance of our production staff. This position also researches and pitches other relevant and compelling content for the project.

Responsibilities include:
identifying, contacting, and booking guests, such as nationally-renowned academics, authors, and other newsmakers for Zoom interviews.
guest would be experts primarily in the fields of communications, psychology, information warfare, disinformation, or history.
reviewing guests' prior work and scripting introductions for guests and preparing compelling and engaging interview questions.
conducting interviews in accordance with the project's interview format.
researching and be well-read on relevant topics to the project, to find appropriate guests.

Preferred candidates will have:
some experience with on-camera interviewing and knowledge of domestic politics.
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
some journalistic or broadcast experience.
ability to work proactively and independently.
a firm understanding of the Propwatch Project's mission and its editorial vision.
